The Barrett Property Management Team, including myself, attended the National Association of Residential Property Managers California State (CALNARPM) Conference in Napa, California this April.

The National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®) is the premiere professional association designed for real estate professionals who desire to learn, share and build relationships in the field of residential property management.

This was my first time attending the conference as Barrett Property Management’s new Marketing Manager. I took away leading edge marketing techniques proven to be sincerely received and liked by consumers.

New marketing trends focus on authentic style which truly relates to the audience. The onslaught of carefully-crafted messages in today’s ads leave consumers with a lack of trust. This conference stressed the importance of showing the people, personalities, and culture behind the company. The forefront of marketing efforts should be photos and videos that are not perfectly edited, but rather authentically present the real people behind the Barrett PM brand and the hard work they perform each day to earn and maintain business.

The most discussed topic was the importance of Video in marketing. Video has become commonplace among advertisers and, when used strategically, it can establish the business as the expert in its field. The Barrett Property Management Team has a successful track record in residential and commercial leasing and management, client satisfaction, and real estate sales services.  With this expertise, we are positioned to deliver a video platform that can quickly and clearly answer our customers most common questions, provide tutorial videos to our clients, and give general updates about our profession and changing laws.

Some exciting video topics you can expect to see in the near future include:

  1. How to maximize your investment property.
  2. What contracts are required for best rental practices?
  3. Why hire a property manager?
  4. What are the new laws this year that effect California property management and real estate sales?

With this conference as my inspiration, my goal is to assist Barrett in delivering quality video to its customers and our Nevada County and Placer County communities with hope that they can benefit from the valuable experiences, information, and knowledge we have to share.  Property Management and selling real estate can be a burden, cumbersome, and legally scary if you do not have proper industry knowledge.  We are here to deliver, via videos, the necessary advice for your success!  Stay tuned…
